Hi, I'm Tammie Wright, founder of Smokin Hot Tax Boss Academy and Smokin Hot Taxes. My journey into the tax industry began in 2016 when I became a tax preparer with little to no formal training. Like many aspiring professionals, I was excited but also scared, nervous, and uncertain about what I was stepping into. Even with those fears, I chose to take a chance on myself—and that decision changed my life.

In 2018, I took an even bigger leap of faith by founding my own virtual tax office from the ground up with 5 tax preparers. I now prepare taxes face to face and virtually, while maintaining a staff.  I didn't have a mentor, a blueprint, or a step-by-step roadmap to follow. Through determination, continuous education, countless hours of research, and a commitment to investing in myself, I built a successful business one step at a time. That experience taught me that success isn't about knowing everything from the start. It's about being willing to learn, grow, and keep moving forward. 

Today, my passion is helping new tax preparers and future business owners avoid the uncertainty I once faced. Through comprehensive training, personalized coaching, and a proven blueprint, I equip aspiring tax professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and systems they need to build successful, thriving tax businesses. My mission is simple: to help you shorten your learning curve, believe in your potential, and confidently step into your role as a tax professional and business owner. If I can do it starting with little guidance, I believe you can too.
